Level 1 Before Level 2

Level 1 Before Level 2 - Super Mario

If you’re setting out on your first ever run, your aim probably shouldn’t be to run a marathon—even if you’ve read loads of books on running.

All of us start from a different level of experience in whatever we’re doing, and that’s okay.

Ego doesn’t grant you experience points.

We’re unlikely to get further faster by bluffing or pretending that we’re further along than we are. Doing so might even hinder our progress as we shy away from asking questions key to understanding and skip opportunities to learn and develop basic techniques essential to mastery.

You have to beat Level 1 before progressing to Level 2.

Embrace your current level of experience. By doing so and putting in the focus and consistent effort, you’ll accelerate your progression to the next level.
