Hard And Difficult

Hard And Difficult

We often associate hard and difficult with being negative.

Difficult situations. Hard conversations. Difficult people. Hard times. These are but a few examples.

We often avoid doing hard and difficult things because of this negative association, and that avoidance usually only makes those things harder and more difficult and amplifies the negative perception.

Or we choose to approach hard and difficult things with the narrative that they’re negative, and that narrative becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

While hard and difficult things are sometimes negative, they aren’t necessarily negative. They are always challenging though.

Great things come from doing hard and difficult work and being open to the challenge of it.

If you reflect back on your own experience, the moments you are most proud of yourself are probably the result of doing hard and difficult work.

It’s in those moments when we’re challenged that we’re typically presented with some of the most fertile opportunities to learn, grow, and unleash our own potential.
