Creating Value And Delight

Creating Value And Delight

Are you trying to convince people why they should find value in and be delighted by your offering or innovation? Or are you acknowledging when they aren’t?

If they aren’t, your efforts to convince them that your offering or innovation does indeed address their wants or needs are unlikely to change how they feel about it. It might even put them off further.

Delivering a great offering or innovation isn’t about you finding value and being delighted by it; it’s about genuinely creating value and delight for those you seek to serve.

Your goal shouldn’t be to tell people why they should find value and delight in your offering.

Your goal should be to set your ego aside and observe if people genuinely find your offering valuable and are delighted after they buy from you.

If they aren’t, listen, learn, iterate, and improve.
