Going somewhere?
We often want to get there fast and look for the most efficient route to go from A to B, from current to future state, from idea to innovation.
But perhaps the best option is to slow down and take the scenic route.
Taking the long way gives us a chance to enjoy the scenery, to get to know our fellow travellers better, to stumble upon the unexpected, to potentially take roads less travelled, and to discover new people, places, and routes.
When it comes to the innovation journey, speed and efficiency aren’t all that matter. Slowing down to take the scenic route might pay off in very dramatic ways.
