We often conflate being popular with being of service.
They’re not the same thing.
Just because something or someone is popular, doesn’t mean they are of service.
Winning the popularity contest and the hustle for attention is not the same as earning trust and providing meaningful value.
Don’t focus on being popular and creating offerings that are popular.
Instead, focus on being of remarkable service and creating offerings that are of remarkable service to a specific group of people.
When you do, you’ll find yourself earning the trust and creating the meaningful value needed not to become popular, but to become sought-after.
