Did you give it 100%?
Oftentimes, we hold back from giving something our all to hedge against the chance that whatever we’re endeavoring to do might not work out as expected.
By holding back, we give ourselves an excuse if our endeavor doesn’t work out flawlessly:
“I didn’t give it everything I had. I only gave it 90%. Things might have been different had I fully committed.”
But what if instead of hedging against potential future loss, we embraced the risk of fully opening ourselves up to potential future opportunity by going all in and giving our endeavor 100%?
How would you show up differently if you fully committed and gave it your all trusting that your endeavor might just work as expected or even beyond all expectations? Even if it doesn’t work out, might the rewards of going all in mitigate the risks?
